About the event
The Civic Excellence Gala is an educational gala hosted by Virtutem Populo, Inc. Virtutem Populo is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting civic engagement through programming, advocacy, and education. Formerly known as the Night of Global Engagement, the gala is an event aimed at celebrating students and teachers dedicated to developing civically engaged and globally aware citizens. Students will have the opportunity to be recognized in several awards categories for their work in advocacy, international relations education, and much more. The event will feature guest speakers, awards, and presentations to promote a mindset of thinking globally, but acting locally.
